Last Orders delivers two specialist alcohol services which are funded by NHS Nottingham City:

LAST ORDERS SPECIALIST TRIAGE SERVICE

The Specialist Triage service includes the Last Orders single Point of Access which is open for referrals and self referrals six days a week with an on-call service on a Sunday. People are assessed on the day of presentation by a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Alcohol. Blood pressure is checked and bloods may be taken as part of the assessment process. After the assessment people are given an appointment for the service most appropriate to them within ten working days.

The Single Point of Access Service is located in the 8 till 8 Health Care NEMS building on Upper Parliment Street, Nottingham and is open to anyone with an alchohol problem regardless of the severity.

Services available:

PRIMARY CARE - Brief and extended Alcohol Advice (up to six sessions) for lower to increasing risk drinkers who want to reduce the amount they drink. Sessions are held In GP surgeries across Nottingham City. People do not have to be registered to access a certain surgery.
STEP AHEAD - Structured day care service based on the abstinence model for dependant drinkers who may also have other associated problems
LAST ORDERS RECOVERY SERVICE - Structured psychosocial interventions for dependant drinkers who may also have other associated problems
CRISIS DETOX - Fast track inpatient detoxification
OXFORD CORNER - Specialist structured day care and psychosocial interventions for dependant drinkers with complex needs.

WHO CAN ACCESS THE SERVICES?

The team will take referrals from any source including self referrals. If you would rather book an appointment at the Single Point for yourself or someone you are working with the phone lines are managed Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with answerphone facility.

LAST ORDERS RECOVERY SERVICE

The Last Orders Recovery Service is for dependant drinkers who may have some low level associated physical or mental health problems. The service will provide pyscho social therapies for up to five months and includes abstinence and moderation groups.

All referrals for this service will come through the Last Orders Specialist Triage and will be led by a clinical nurse specialist.
